Adjusting the roof tiles during roof hook installation is one of the most labor-intensive and time-consuming steps for PV installers. Officially, the practice of grinding and tapping the roof tiles is even expressly prohibited. A tricky situation for the tradesman, who is the last specialist in the trade to take responsibility. The solution is very simple however. Marzari metal roof tiles are available for many types of tile in matching colors. Installation is easier, cleaner and quicker in comparison. Replacing the lower tile before attaching the roof hook also eliminates all overload problems in snowy regions in advance. Consequential damage due to tile breakage and water ingress is no longer to be feared. The foam wedge included in the scope of delivery prevents rain and snow from penetrating through openings in the top tile.
